The internationally renowned Professor, Stuart L. Hart joins Department of Planning as part-time professor where he will head the newly established Initiative 4 SDG partnerships – a collaboration between Aalborg University and the University of Vermont.
The initiative aims at providing an action-driven innovation platform that can deliver applied knowledge, methodologies and training in relation to sustainable partnership innovation.
The initiative will take off from the platform developed by access2innovation – a well-established link between the world of academia, private companies, humanitarian organisations and public institutions and authorities.
'The Danish approach to partnership driven innovation holds promising potential for being duplicated at a global scale. I look forward to engage in driving the research agenda and providing hands-on knowledge to the civil society organisations and private sector companies that are engaged in realizing the ambitions of the SDGs,' says Professor Stuart Hart.
Stuart Hart has been Chair in Sustainable Global Enterprise and Professor of Management at Cornell University and over the years he has written books and articles on important issues such as:
