From 2 December to 16 December 2019, AAU’s central OHS section will conduct a mini-survey on staff wellbeing at Aalborg University for the fourth year running. This survey is part of the workplace assessment process, and the results will serve as inspiration for a dialogue on proactive, preventive and developmental initiatives to promote occupational health and safety.
The results of the survey may be used as input for the upcoming workplace inspection rounds and will also be discussed in the local OHS committees of departments and Shared Service units. The results from the 2019 staff wellbeing barometer can be compared to the results of the 2017 and 2018 staff wellbeing barometers. This will provide an overview of the variations in staff wellbeing over the years. It will also give us an opportunity to discuss the correlation between the development in the results and the occupational health and safety measures taken during the same period.
The nine questions of the staff wellbeing barometer aim at providing an overall indication of the staff wellbeing at AAU. Two questions concern job satisfaction, two questions concern motivation, three questions concern stress symptoms and one question concerns offensive or abusive behaviour.
Monday 2 December 2019, all staff members will receive a personal email from AAU’s central OHS section with a link to an electronic questionnaire with nine questions. The deadline for responding to the questionnaire is Monday 16 December 2019 at 23:59. The cover letter and questionnaire will be forwarded in both Danish and English. The results will be communicated to the managements of departments and Shared Service units and will be published on the OHS website in the beginning of February 2020.
If you have any questions about the staff wellbeing barometer, please do not hesitate to contact AAU’s central section for occupational health and safety at email@example.com.
