There will be no University Party in 2020, but mark your calendar now for 16 April 2021 when we will be partying instead! Anyone who bought a ticket for the 2020 party will be able to buy tickets in the presale two days before ticket sales officially open.
New funding opportunities derived from COVID-19
In relation to the COVID-19 situation, new funding opportunities are opening up. Many fields of research can contribute to solutions in the context of the far-reaching crisis. To help the researchers, local fundraisers in the departments and Fundraising and Project Management (F&P) at AAU Innovation keep an eye on the development and continuously updates the new opportunities on www.funding.aau.dk.
INTERDISCIPLINARY COLLABORATIONS EQUIP STUDENTS FOR THE LABOUR MARKET
The ability to collaborate across disciplines is essential for solving complex societal problems. Researchers in the interdisciplinary research project Community Drive are clear about this. As part of their project, they have launched several interdisciplinary student projects to equip their students for the real-life labour market.

PURPOSE OF AAU INSIDE
AAU Inside is the official news site for all staff members at Aalborg University (AAU).
The purpose of AAU Inside is to promote unity across the university and to be the go-to place for the latest AAU news and information. AAU Inside aims at contributing to a cohesive, shared identity and culture at AAU.
AAU Inside supports the university's purpose and intends to reflect university life by publishing news stories on education, research and cooperation with interest for all staff across organisational and geographical units.
AAU Inside will ensure clear management communication by engaging constructively and critically in communicating decisions made by the management as well as issues important to staff across the organisation.
The English version of AAU Inside aims at providing news stories and information relevant to a broad spectrum of international staff members in English and without too much delay. However, since most content is translated after it has been published in Danish some delay must be expected.

The news articles on the Danish version of AAU Inside are mainly written by communication staff at the departments, deans’ offices, AAU Innovation and Shared Services units.
The articles on the English version are translated from Danish to English by language consultants in Sprogservice, AAU Communication, or by communication staff at the departments, deans’ offices, AAU Innovation and Shared Services units.
